Our team is growing and looking to add an experienced electrical engineer team member. Our culture of learning and development will lead to continued growth as we place an emphasis on properly prioritizing work-life harmony while working on challenging engineering projects.Minimum 7 years of design experience in the building systems industry and preferably have experience with healthcare design. Candidate should have the ability to navigate as a lead engineer for technical production tasks on projects as well as the ability to make decisions independently while still utilizing guidance from other engineers and project managers. Essential Job Responsibilities
Responsible for leading technical production on projectsTakes ownership of production/design on entire systems and specificationsPerforms load calculations & code researchPlans and schedules project production coordinating with Project ManagerAssists Project Manager with proposals and presentations to clientsCoordinates with internal team members and external clientsMentors less experienced engineersConducts periodic job site observationsSkills
Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office and CAD, BlueBeam and REVIT softwareAbility to communicate effectivelyAbility to work collaboratively with othersRequirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering from an ABET accredited four-year college or universityMinimum 7 years of experience in the MEP industry with specific Healthcare experienceProfessional Engineer Licensure would be idealMust be authorized to work in the United StatesQuality of Leadership
