RLC is Hiring a Human Resources Administrator Near Broussard, LA

RLC, LLC is seeking a Human Resources Administrator to provide comprehensive support in the areas of employee relations and benefit program support. The position is located at our Broussard, LA location, and the schedule is Monday through Friday. Responsibilities under general supervision include, but are not limited to:Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Respond to inquiries by phone and electronic communications timely and take ownership of and manage each to conclusion.
  • Investigate, research, and troubleshoot complex scenarios and bring to a resolution
  • Administer the company’s FAA DOT Drug and Alcohol program.
  • Process the full life-cycle transaction changes of an employee and accountable for inputting data with accuracy
  • Knowledge of Form I-9 compliance and employment authorization
  • Process unemployment claims
  • Maintain personnel files and comply with all filing requirements ensuring records remain up to date and accurate
  • Support process improvement projects by helping to identify recurring issues and problematic trends by recommending changes in procedures and assist with documenting and drafting process flows
  • Proactively evaluate and advise of updates needed to HR policies, procedures, documents
  • Provide data, documentation, and administrative support
  • Support special projects and HR initiatives
  • Examine employee files to answer inquiries and provide information to authorized persons (employment verifications).
Qualifications and/or ExperienceMinimum requirements are a one year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak clearly and concisely on the telephone and in a group setting. Mathematical Skill: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office Products. Knowledge of Database software, Human Resource Information systems or Payroll systems a plus.
