The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for depositing and posting daily A/R receipts.
Essential Functions

- Deposit daily A/R receipts
- Accurately post customers payments
- Process and post ACH Payments
- Process adjustments & write-offs to customer accounts
- Answer customer questions regarding their accounts
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets.
Physical Demands
Ability to sit at a computer for prolonged periods of time.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days expected to work are Monday - Friday; 40 hours. There is flexibility in schedule of 7-4 or 8-5. There is rarely weekend or evening work, but there is a possibility during busy times of the month and year.
Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma
- 1-2 years of experience in similar position
- Basic knowledge of computers
- Knowledge of Windows, Word, and Excel.
- Attention to Detail - Taking responsibility for a thorough and detailed method of working.
- Computer Literacy - Using computers effectively and efficiently in the working environment.
- Customer focus - Knowing the (internal and external) customer business needs and acting accordingly; anticipating customer needs, and giving high priority to customer satisfaction and customer service.
