- Monitor building entrances to prevent theft and maintain security of premises.
- Keep reports of daily activities and incidents, such as property damage, theft, trespassing, etc.
- Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency.
- Investigate disturbances and calls made by residents or employees.
- Circulate among visitors, patrons and employees to preserve order and protect property.
- Escort or drive vehicles to transport individuals to specified locations or to provide personal protection.
- Warn intruders and/or evict violators from premises, using force when necessary.
- Inspect and adjust security systems, equipment, or machinery to ensure operational use.
- Monitor and adjust controls that regulate building systems, such as air conditioning, furnace, or boiler.
- Security Guard Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid, unrestricted driver's license (must have 5 years driving experience)
- Security experience, preferred.
- CPR certified within 30days of hire (class provided).
- Experience working with a vulnerable population (preferred).
