Riverside EpiFIT Club is seeking a Membership Services Coordinator to join its phenomenal team!

COVID-19 Policy and Requirements
Given new federal guidance regarding COVID-19 vaccination, the Riverside EpiCenter is now taking necessary precautions to promote public health and safety. As a result, Riverside EpiCenter, LLC and Riverside EpiFitness Club, LLC employees will be required to have at least one COVID -19 Vaccination shot prior to an offer for employment.
General Statement of Duties:

The Membership Services Coordinator will be responsible for creating a positive member experience by providing a superior level of customer service to The EpiFit Club members, prospective members and guests. Responsible for overall member retention by delivering the highest quality customer service by listening and responding to all members. Assists members with account maintenance and articulates an extensive knowledge of The EpiFit Club services. Anticipates member needs and interests and recommends programs, classes and services appropriately. The Membership Services Coordinator helps maximize member retention by connecting each member to the right people, place and program.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Attend mandatory quarterly staff meetings.
  • Stays abreast of current club events and helps maintain the club calendar.
  • Actively promotes the EpiFit Club including all fitness programs, classes, activities, and services

Preferred Qualifications / Competencies:

  • High School diploma/GED equivalent required.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Customer service background preferred.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • A passion for people, fitness and health. Upbeat and positive attitude!
  • Self-starter and the ability to take initiative.
  • Punctuality and reliability is a must.
  • Exceptional customer service skills; able to interact in a positive and professional way with members and co-workers, exceeding the member’s expectations.
  • Strong listener with the ability to empathize and problem solve.
  • Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions while using appropriate behavior and language.

Task Effort % of time spent on this aspect of the role

40% Handle all front desk related activities including:

  • Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with a variety of questions.
  • Check members into the system.
  • Operating internal POS system for membership payments
  • Responds appropriately to questions and messages regarding

member accounts

  • Processes member paperwork, including address changes, member cancellations, new members, electronic funds transfers, and payments
  • Provide services that are above and beyond for customer satisfaction and retention

20% Greet members, prospective members and guests, providing

exceptional customer service. Initiates, develops and

maintains positive relationships with all members and guests. 20%

20% Responds attentively and promptly to member needs

20% Assist in keeping general areas clean by disinfecting common

areas, wiping down machinery, sweeping or mopping floors

and keeping the workout floor organized. Maintain cleanliness

throughout the Spa and Fitness Center
