Description

Job Title: Player Services Supervisor

Rivers Casino Pittsburgh is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual for the role of Player Services Supervisor. As a Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences and efficient team operations within our dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage department personnel efficiently by planning, directing, and assigning tasks, addressing complaints and conflicts, and providing coaching, counseling, and disciplinary action as necessary.
  • Maintain operational procedures to uphold quality standards, ensuring optimal guest service and cost efficiency.
  • Handle stressful situations professionally and proactively plan for contingencies such as computer or kiosk failures and staff callouts.
  • Administer complimentary privileges within prescribed limits in line with the approved Comp Matrix, and address related queries effectively.
  • Ensure comprehensive understanding of various computer systems and their software.
  • Assist in training or retraining team members on Cage, Rush Rewards, PBX, and Gift Shop operations, as well as computer systems and software.
  • Provide operational support during peak hours, including special events, promotional activities, and audit procedures.
  • Review operations of each shift and provide recommendations for operational efficiency improvements, regulatory compliance, and enhanced guest service.
  • Ensure cleanliness and adequate stocking of all public areas, and prepare promotional giveaways for distribution.
  • Perform any additional duties as requested or assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • One to three years of supervisory experience in customer relations, marketing, or finance is required.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with guests and Team Members.
  • Ability to maintain composure and manage stress in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership, prioritization, and planning skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Proficiency in computer systems, software, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Competence in using a point of sale system, handling cash, and performing financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including holidays.
  • Ability to successfully complete the pre-employment process.

Certifications:

  • Obtain a Pennsylvania Gaming License. Rivers Casino will assist in the application process and pays the fee associated with the gaming license.

Physical Requirements:

  • Physical ability to stand, walk, reach, squat, kneel, bend, and lift or carry up to 100 pounds occasionally.
  • Frequent ability to push/pull carts weighing up to 100 pounds.
  • Finger/hand dexterity to maneuver on computer and office machinery.
