Job Summary :

Must possess outstanding interpersonal communications skills to effectively interface with guests, supervisors, and team members.

Responsible for all results from cook line through the dining experience.

Supervisory Responsibilities :

Yes. Will supervise Crossings Cafe team, Marketplace team, and Starbucks team (as needed)

Duties / Responsibilities :

• Possesses complete knowledge of all procedures related to the job.
• Continuously fosters great relationships with team members in all areas and mentors others to do the same.
• Ensures that all guests are treated in a prompt, professional and courteous manner.
• Must possess outstanding interpersonal communications skills to effectively interface with guests,supervisors, and team members.
• Sets standards by being cooperative, helpful and friendly, and by presenting a neat, clean, well-groomed appearance.
• Ensures proper staffing for forecasted volume and budgetary guidelines.
• Ensures strict adherence to all policies and procedures.
• Monitors inventories and reports discrepancies to the Manager and / or the Director of Food & Beverage.
• Oversees the end of month inventory process and presents it to the Manager and / or Director of Food and Beverage and Department
• Holds periodic meetings with Supervisors and with team members.
• Meets budgeted figures for labor and other expenses.
• Ensures excellent guest service.
• Notifies team members of changes in policy and procedure.
• Must work closely with Department Trainer to ensure all new hires are trained both with
• classroom and floor programs. Ensure all existing team members are attending follow up training sessions.
• Communicates any problems or concerns to the Manager and / or Director and other departments as needed.
• Works with all departments to ensure proper communication.
• Participates and / or leads in departmental meetings as required.
• Maintains files in such a way that another supervisor could perform efficiently in the event of his / her absence.
• Promotes the Casino through good will and positive attitude.
• Maintains high sanitation and safety standards.
• Maintains security of products and areas assigned to the department.
• Understands that this is a 24-hour responsibility and is accessible at all times.
• Sets high standards by complying with all departmental rules, policies, and procedures.
• Ensures that all Team Members are treated in a fair and consistent manner.
• Performs any other duties as specified or assigned by the VP or any member of Executive Management.
• All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements :

• Minimum 3 years as supervisor or above of a full service restaurant.
• A strategic thinker and creative problem solver who takes the initiative and ownership
• Self-starter with a creative mind and a track record of putting ideas into practice and assessing results

Certifications, Licenses, and / or Registrations :

• Gaming license / registration as required by jurisdiction(s).
• Ability to obtain a Food Manager's Certificate.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and project management skills, with particular attention to
• quality and detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.

• Demonstrates the ability to establish credibility and rapport with operating leaders.
• Ability to analyze data, understand trends, and develop recommendations for action based on the analysis.

Physical Requirements :

• Must be able to work while standing for hours at a time.
• Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week, including holidays.
