Feed Energy Company is seeking an experienced and skilled QAQC Technician to join our laboratory team. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for conducting qualitative and quantitative chemical analyses, research, and quality control across our manufacturing processes. 

Responsibilities:

- Perform analytical testing and provide laboratory support services across the plant and office

- Conduct regular audits and maintain monthly cross-checking of samples for quality control

- Plan and execute research activities for product/process development under laboratory guidance

- Maintain meticulous documentation/records of all analytical tests performed

- Manage data analysis associated with weekly Perfect Load Index scoring

- Ensure proper safety protocols for handling chemicals/hazardous materials

- Maintain an orderly, clean and safe laboratory environment

- Coordinate with external labs for specialized analytical needs

- Prepare and report key plant quality control metrics

- Support sales and production functions through laboratory expertise

- Demonstrate company values through work interactions

Requirements

- B.Sc. in Chemistry, Biology or related field 

- Minimum 5 years of analytical laboratory experience 

- Extensive hands-on experience with standard lab equipment and procedures

- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

- Strong knowledge of chemical properties, structures and safe handling techniques

- Experience in fats, oils, proteins or pesticide analysis is a plus

- Excellent analytical, statistical and troubleshooting abilities

- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
