River Valley Health & Dental is Hiring a Patient Financial Services Representative Near Williamsport, PA
Description
The Patient Financial Services Representative is responsible for the accurate and timely input of insurance and patient information into the billing system. Responsibilities include maintaining a working knowledge of computer system; insurance eligibility; navigating financial assistance options available to patients; and accounts receivable follow up. This position is also responsible for direct contact with patients; third party vendors such as Medicaid and physicians’ and dental office staff; either in verbal or written form.
Requirements
High School Degree or equivalent.
Previous billing or collection experience in healthcare setting preferred.
Knowledge and experience with electronic medical/dental record system
Excellent oral/written communication and organizational skills
Word processing and excel spreadsheet skills
