Ritter Center is currently recruiting for a Major Gifts Officer. This full-time, exempt position reports to the Chief Development Officer. This role is based in San Rafael, CA, operating out of our Administrative Offices.

Position Description:
The Major Gifts Officer will report to the Chief Development Officer. This is a new position created to help meet the growing needs of Ritter Center and its expanding Development Department. The Major Gifts Officer will serve as a frontline fundraiser, support the CEO, CDO, and Capital Campaign Committee in key donor engagement strategies to reach its capital campaign goal and sustain the major gifts pipeline to formalize the major gifts program.
The key to success in this role will be identifying and building relationships with new prospects, as well as strengthening relationships with existing donors to maximize philanthropic support. A project overview can be viewed at ritterbuildshope.org.
