Your Role:
You will be responsible for performing a variety of legal support duties and delivering high-quality services to internal and external clients, exhibiting commitment to integrity and excellence. The scope of responsibilities include prioritizing, managing and following through on multiple projects, and communicating effectively, courteously and professionally with clients, attorneys, and peers.
Your Deliverables:
· Schedule hearings, depositions, mediations, client meetings, and phone conferences
· Calendar all deadlines
· Coordinate with different parties about schedules and any changes
· Resolve scheduling conflicts as they occur
· Secure videographer and interpreters as needed.
· Have the ability to manage multiple calls
· Organize and maintain case files
· Transcription
· Prepare subpoenas and following up on records
· Draft legal correspondence and other documents
Required Skills:
· We require at least three (3) years’ experience in Workers’ Compensation defense
· Demonstrated ability to work under strict deadlines
· Ability to manage and reprioritize work daily
· Must be able to work effectively in a busy team-oriented environment as well as independently
· Excellent time/task management skills
· Remarkable communication skills
· Experience using DOAH and efiling
· Skilled using a legal case management system (ATO a plus)
· Proficiency in MS Word and Outlook
