RiskOptics is Hiring a Remote Human Resources & Talent Generalist

Job Description: 

As a Human Resources & Talent Generalist at RiskOptics reporting to our VP of Operations, you will have an opportunity to create processes that will help scale RiskOptics as we continue to grow. You’ll impact every area of HR functions including onboarding, recruiting, employee experience, company culture, performance management, HRIS systems, policies and procedures, and compliance.

What you will get to do:

  • Lead and continuously develop onboarding for new hires and support the offboarding processes.
  • Interview for open positions and take full ownership of the interviewing and hiring process from start to finish.
  • Partner with leaders across our GTM, R&D & G&A teams.
  • Develop, communicate, and implement employee policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Collaborate with leadership to build performance management and professional development programs.
  • Collaborate with our Operations team on employee engagement programs and company culture initiatives.
  • Ensure HRIS systems are continuously updated by processing employment changes across systems in a timely manner.
  • Partner with our PEO, Sequoia One for payroll and employee matters.
  • Respond to employment requests including employment verifications, unemployment insurance claims, and worker’s compensation claims as needed.
  • Support the open enrollment process and serve as a point of contact for employee benefits questions.
  • Ensure internal compliance by administering workplace training courses including harassment prevention and cybersecurity; keep policies and notices up to date with federal, state, and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.
  • Serve as a go-to resource for any employee questions or requests.

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or similar, or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years of human resources and recruiting experience.
  • SME across core HR functions.
  • Ability to serve as the point of contact for employees and build trust and rapport quickly.
  • Experience running the full life cycle of recruiting including sourcing, interviewing & negotiating offers.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate with all levels of the organization and external vendors.
  • Experience working with a globally distributed team.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and solutions-oriented.
