Overview
Provides professional meteorological services to clients and internal forensic experts. Performs mainly desktop review and analysis of meteorological data for residential and commercial property damage, accident reconstruction, mechanical, electrical, and industrial incidents, and premises and liability matters. Applies meteorological knowledge to engineering problems encountered in construction and field projects. Works under general supervision, exercising initiative and independent judgment in the performance of assigned tasks.

Physical Demands, Overtime, and Travel Requirements
Physical Demands - While performing this job, employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, climb, bend, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, and drive a motor vehicle to client sites or job sites. Employee may lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Employee must be sharp, focused, and alert when conducting site inspections, speaking and interacting with clients, preparing written reports of findings, and testifying in deposition or trial. Clear vision and depth perception are also necessary.
Overtime - This position is classified as salaried with a non-exempt FLSA status. There may be periods where overtime will be required, which the employee will need to comply with to meet the demands of the position.
Travel Requirements - This position requires up to 25% travel. Some out-of-area and overnight travel may be required.
