RIM Recruitment Professionals is Hiring a Grant Writer Near Orlando, FL

Our client is seeking an experienced grant writer. The Grant Writer will be responsible for researching, identifying, and applying for grants to support our organization's mission of providing effective debt solutions to individuals and families. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of grant application processes, excellent written communication skills, and the ability to effectively convey our organization's goals and impact to potential funding sources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Grant Research: Conduct thorough research to identify potential grant opportunities from government agencies, foundations, and other relevant sources that align with our mission.

  • Proposal Development: Prepare compelling grant proposals, ensuring alignment with funder requirements and guidelines. Clearly articulate the organization's goals, programs, and impact, emphasizing the significance of our debt solutions services.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with program managers and other relevant staff to gather necessary information for grant applications. Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate budgetary information is included in proposals.

  • Grant Application Submission: Manage the complete grant application process, including the timely submission of applications. Ensure that all required documentation is included and applications comply with funding guidelines.

  • Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain relationships with potential funders and grant-making organizations. Attend relevant events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote our organization and identify new funding prospects.

  • Grant Reporting: Coordinate with program managers and finance staff to provide accurate and timely reports to grantors. Ensure compliance with reporting requirements outlined in grant agreements.

  • Grant Tracking: Maintain a comprehensive tracking system for all grant opportunities, applications, and outcomes. Provide regular updates to leadership on the status of grant applications and awards.

  • Grant Compliance: Stay informed about changes in regulations and guidelines related to grant funding. Ensure that our organization remains in compliance with all grant requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (English, Communications, Nonprofit Management, etc.).
  • Proven experience in grant writing, with a successful track record of securing grants for nonprofit organizations.
  • Strong research skills and the ability to identify and pursue diverse funding sources.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Familiarity with financial terminology and budgeting processes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently, managing multiple deadlines.
