About the Position Print Production Associate (Houston,TX Downtown )

Core Responsibilities

Working for Rileys at one of our Enterprise locations in Houston, you will provide Customer Service, print production, signage printing, and bindery work as requested by our clients. Those duties are as follows:

· Maintain excellent client relations and team collaboration.

· Edit digital artwork provided for Calgary - Maps, PowerPoint Presentations, Brochures, Booklets, Illustrations, Event Documents, Signage, and other materials for print setup.

· Confidence to work with internal clients to deliver projects from concept to completion

· Quality check for all work, including digital and print pieces

· Use programs in Adobe Pro, Adobe Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite daily to prepare client files for printing.

· Operating various equipment, including large format printers, small format digital printers, bindery, and finishing equipment

· Assist with standard billing protocols using our provided customer forms and Excel calculator tools.

· Order supplies, maintain inventories for the Copy Centre and outside clients, and assist with mailroom duties.

Job Qualifications MUST HAVE 2 years of experience or more:

· We expect our employee to be an enthusiastic team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and must demonstrate the following:

· Experience with large format printing and finishing work MUST HAVE

· Experience with small format printing and finishing work MUST HAVE

· Experience with Preflight and setting up print jobs MUST HAVE

· Tremendous attention to detail

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Ability to work competently and independently, making effective decisions in a fast-paced, extremely deadline-driven environment

· Creative thinker and problem solver

· Proficiency with the Adobe Suite and, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Pro.

· Able to multi-task, you must run more than one piece of equipment at any given time.

· Ability to manage a fast-paced work environment and tight timelines, managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines

· Strong attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, creativity, a proven work ethic, and self-directed

· Solid and creative problem-solving skills (critical, strategic, and evaluation thinking)

· Punctuality

· Ability to work in a team as well as alone

· Ability to lift up to 50lbs (Usually paper boxes or paper rolls)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
