Description
- Operates equipment, hand tools and lifts heavy items (up to 50 pounds)
- Operating forklift, pallet jack
- Sweeping and cleaning of assigned work areas
- Pick and pull production materials
- Loading materials onto trucks and flatbeds
- Arrange and store materials as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-5 years of experience working in a warehouse setting or in logistics; experience in operating material handling equipment preferred
- Fluent in English and capable of communicating with co-workers
- Experience operating forklift
- Ability to multi-task with attention to detail
- Capable of maintaining an organized work area
- Must be self-motivated and proactive
- Must be able to work well in a team environment
- Ability to read, write, follow instructions, and work independently
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time; ability to bend and to lift heavy materials
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends
