Medical Technician

RieLes Group is seeking a Medical Technician for a Contract role supporting the North American Aerospace Defense Command at their Eastern Air Defense Sector in Rome, NY.

Job Description:

As a Medical Technician, you may be required to:

• Implement and manage record management systems.
• Provide training to all personnel who need access to the record management system to ensure members are trained to successfully utilize the system.
• Create, manage, and process medical records for current members.
• Create medical records for new accessions.
• Prescreen medical records for medical/dental health issues that require evaluation.
• File documentation in individual medical/dental records.
• Provide/input documentation of results of the Bi-monthly case reviews.
• Schedule members to complete occupational health requirements.
• Edit, review, and validate medical recordsfor accuracy and completeness.
• Comply with policies and procedures developed for Occupational Health and
• Reproductive Health Programs. Ensure new policies and procedures are provided to medical staff in a timely manner.
• Conduct annual medical/dental record reviews.
• Perform quality assurance checks on incoming medical/dental records.
• Generate and track individual medical readiness reports.
•  Provide administrative support.
•  Expedite the resolution of medical matters by connecting personnel to the appropriate medical servicing entity.
•  Process and track comprehensive fitness assessments, assessment exemptions, medical evaluation boards, profiles, and waivers.
•  Communicate medical publication guidance and safety.
•  Coordinate First Aid and CPR programs.

Basic Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree of Science in Medical Assistance.
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Medical Technician.
• First Aid and CPR qualified.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science, preferably in a medical discipline.
• Previous Management or Leadership experience.
• Experience as a civilian contractor for a Government Facility
