Richland County Government is Hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) Near Richland, WI

PURPOSE OF POSITION

The purpose of this position is to provide direct nursing care and shift supervision at Pine Valley Community Village.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required or assigned.

  • Performs direct nursing care, monitors and assesses resident condition, performs treatments, administers medication, obtains lab specimens, checks vital signs, and completes other nursing tasks.
  • Follows up on resident’s health concerns. Notifies RN Supervisor, physician, or family as necessary. Develops plan of care and communicates to other nursing personnel.
  • Completes documentation as required. Completes MDS and other assessments, develops plan, implements plan, evaluates plan, and documents via weekly summaries and other reports.
  • Supervises licensed practical nurse and nurse aids on shift. Assist with employee orientation and evaluation as assigned.
  • Manages emergencies.
  • Maintains knowledge of geriatric nursing through on-going education.
  • Serves as lead person for facility in absence of administrative employees.

MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO PERFORMESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Registered Nurse licensure with geriatric nursing experience, or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • CBRF

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00 - $39.33 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
