Position Summary:
The Richland Hospital, Inc. currently seeking (2) Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse. These are twelve hour night shift positions with some varying to day shift, every third weekend and holiday rotation.
Duties:
- Provide direct patient care in a medical/surgical setting
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs and symptoms
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding their healthcare needs
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic health record systems
- Ensure proper sterilization of equipment and instruments in sterile processing area
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Experience:
- Valid RN license in WI
- Experience in dementia care, ambulatory surgery center, or family planning is a plus
- Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to prioritize patient care
- Proficient in using electronic health record systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
