Event Security Supervisor

Role Overview

The primary role of the Event Security Supervisor is to ensure appropriate security measures for events across Richemont North America Maison events and to provide onsite support and management of contracted security personnel during the execution of special events. The secondary role of the position will be to assist the retail security team in various functions as needed and directed by the Events Manager. The Event Security Supervisor reports directly to the Events Manager.

Responsibilities (or Mission)

• Independently supervise on-site third-party security officers assigned to events (ranging from 3-20 officers on average). Provide recommendations and feedback on performance management to vendor in order to ensure event success and replace officers when needed as a result of poor performance or conduct.
• Work closely with contracted security providers and vendors to arrange proper support for events as directed. Assess event security staffing needs and provide recommendations when additional officers are needed. Provide on-site security management for events, to include appropriately supporting and directing vendors.
• Authorize use of high value goods by attendees and staff during events. Maintain accurate inventory and deployment of event security assets (cameras, NVRs, switches, etc)
• Provide excellent service and security representation to Richemont brand partners
• Assist Event Manager with preliminary walk-throughs of event spaces as necessary
• Occasionally assist retail security with boutique duties as directed by Event Manager
• Other tasks and duties as requested by manager

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and without direct supervision to execute all phases of events
• Ability to understand and implement security policy and procedure
• Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance is a must
• Working knowledge of CCTV and guarding strategy
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• 2 years security experience
• College degree preferred
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure with strong organizational skills
• Strong collaboration skills
• Extensive travel locally and internationally as needed
• Nights, weekends, and unconventional schedules are a requirement

Expected Salary Range: $75,000 - $78,000

Salary will be negotiated based on relevant skills and experience.
