POSITION PURPOSE:
The Human Resources and Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for delivering and improving our talent acquisition and development strategies, as well as playing a strong role in cultivating company culture, organizational development, and engagement.
Key Accountabilities include:
• Full-cycle recruitment, including maintaining accurate records and review of active job openings and applications; conducting and/or scheduling interviews; managing candidate offers and onboarding.
• Identification of staffing needs; developing and executing best practices for hiring and talent management.
• Collaboration with Human Resources and additional cross-functional teams to create and drive employee engagement, recognition, and well-being programs/activities
• Supporting the administration of employee new-hire, termination, compensation, benefits, timecard, and other employment records as needed.
• Assisting with employment verifications, UI responses, record audits, and mandatory reports. • Supporting the facilitation of communication throughout the organization including written policies, verbal presentations, and organizational change(s)
• Support employee performance management and development and general employee relations.
• Assist with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition, holiday parties, or other events.

• Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems.
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive Human Resource experience
• Associated Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• SHRM-CP certification a plus.
