Lehigh Valley Assertive Community Treatment Team is looking to hire a full time Fiscal Administrator.
The Fiscal Administrator supports the this activity through organization and accountability of resources, relationships with vendors & contractors, toward the maintenance of an effective and efficient, as well as supportive environment, for staff and service recipients. The Fiscal Administrator is responsible for the development and maintenance of systems designed to assist the unit with the responsibilities relative to Accounts Payable/Receivable, and the oversight of facility.

Some Responsibilities Include:
The Fiscal Administrator will respond to customers, both internal and external, as a service priority. This response includes, but is not limited to, accounts payable activities including staff reimbursement and vendor contracts, as well as primary oversight/coordination of facility management/maintenance, including communication with landlord and related vendors, and processing and tracking of archived records. As part of an administrative team, the Fiscal Administrator will support reception responsibilities as needed.
Banking:
  • Process and submit electronic check requests and paperwork for accounts payable.
  • Process and submit accounts receivable and either deposit receivables in the bank or send them to the corporate office.
  • Processing of remote bank reconciliations, if applicable.
  • Assist in distributing and maintaining site funds.
Fiscal Administration:
  • Coordinates the management of Credit Cards, including credit card activity monitoring for any unusual transactions, review and timely approval of transactions, coordinate card holder monthly reconciliation and receipt management, follows-up on any credit card fraud investigations and cancels cards for existing card holder.
  • Will follow up on any missing or unaccounted activities and report such activities to the divisional fiscal group.
  • Participate in fiscal and compliance audits. Responsible for facilitation and submission of all applicable payments necessary to ensure that properties remain in current and good status with vendors. Collection and collation of all required payment information will precede submission to designated corporate representative for issuance of payment. Maintain vendor relationship.
  • Review and alert program staff of changes in client benefits, to ensure accuracy in billing.
Qualifications:
  • Candidates for this position must have a year of previous experience in a professional environment using Microsoft Office and have the ability to make independent decisions regarding the most efficient process to complete requested work.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree from with a major in Business Administration, Accounting or other related field preferred, or an Associates’ Degree with two years relevant experience or a High School Diploma with 4 years relevant experience will be considered.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting practices, policies and procedures (GAAP), purchasing and billing functions.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Products and Applications.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • The Fiscal Administrator must be knowledgeable, flexible and able to respond appropriately and effectively to internal and external customers.
  • This individual must be organized, goal-oriented and able to follow through with numerous responsibilities while ensuring accuracy in work product outcomes.
  • Bilingual candidates preferred.
  • A valid driver's license is required.

Lehigh Valley ACT's Recovery-focused, multidisciplinary, assertive community treatment programs provide intensive, individual support for people in Lehigh and Northampton counties who are working to overcome the barriers to recovery from mental illness. Assertive Community Treatment Teams provide: Psychiatric assessment, medication education and monitoring, treatment for co-occurring disorders, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, psychosocial services and education (including Wellness Management and Recovery, SAMSHA evidence-based IMR) and intervention help strengthen the individual’s networks. Blended Case Management Services affords the collaborative coordination of services and resources supportive of recovery and growth. Individuals work with case managers to increase personal and financial independence, overcome barriers compromising access to treatment, build and expand capabilities in roles and relationships within the community and, acquire skills to support self-determination and self-management of the symptoms or challenges related to their illness.
