Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Aide to join our team. As a Physical Therapy Aide, you will play a vital role in assisting our physical therapists in providing exceptional patient care. This position is ideal for individuals interested in gaining experience in a hospital or acute care setting. Duties: - Assist physical therapists with patient treatments and exercises - Prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions - Escort patients to and from therapy sessions - Monitor and document patient progress and responses to treatment - Maintain cleanliness and organization of therapy areas - Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred - Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals - Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively as part of a team - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Skills: - Patient care - Hospital or acute care experience - Occupational health knowledge - Trigger point therapy techniques - Understanding of anatomy and physiology - Familiarity with medical terminology If you are passionate about helping others and interested in pursuing a career in physical therapy, we encourage you to apply for the position of Physical Therapy Aide.
