The Staff Accountant provides support to XTG and business units by analyzing, reconciling, and reporting on XTG's financial information. Other responsibilities include providing support to Controller by preparing journal entries and analyze branch trial balances to identify and resolve discrepancies. Review Junior Accountant's journal entries, reconciliations and schedules.
RFMW is an electronic component distributor of RF and microwave products, within the XTG/TTI Family of Specialists. This position will be onsite in North Fort Worth, with the opportunity to work from home two (2) days a week after the initial 90-day training period.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Perform general ledger account analysis, reconcile general ledger accounts for XTG and business units utilizing Microsoft Excel and financial systems.
Prepare and record journal entries for North America locations.
Review and approve journal entries of other Accountants.
Set-up and review monthly and quarterly financial schedules, consolidated financial statements, and supplemental schedules.
Examine branch trial balances for North America locations monthly to verify the accuracy of all figures and resolve discrepancies.
Review, analyze and reconcile bank accounts to the general ledger for all North America locations.
Effectively support Controller by aiding in all areas requested, including but not limited to, special projects, cross training with team members, and researching emerging issues.
Support internal customers in a manner which ensures total quality and effective customer service.
Additional duties and projects as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field from an accredited college or university and at least four years related experience is required.
SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS

• Public Accounting a plus.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and practices.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Microsoft Dynamics and ERP experience a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, high transaction environment with strong attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
• Strong problem solving, organizational and account analysis skills.
• Solid decision-making skills including ability to analyze impact of decisions before execution.
• Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Interact effectively with individuals and groups inside and outside the organization.
• Excellent customer service focus with a strong sense of urgency in responding to customer needs.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet required deadlines.
