Responsible for reporting, analysis, and account reconciliations, inclusive of some high risk and complex balance sheet accounts, assisting with month end close reviews and entries, assisting with internal reporting functions, as well as other ad hoc projects across the Company’s departments.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Extensive account reconciliations and assistance in substantiation/maintenance of fixed assets sub-ledger balances including booking monthly depreciation.
• Complete month end close duties including maintaining detailed accrual schedules, performing P&L reviews, preparing journal entries for entry into the accounting system, and performing reconciliations of balance sheet accounts.
• Assist in the preparation of schedules for external and internal auditors.
• Review the monthly calculation of capitalization of internally developed software, in partnership with IT and ensure monthly accounting entries related to capitalization are properly documented and supported.
• Assist with development of monthly reports for departmental related expenses.
• Assist in the analysis, preparation, and presentation of financial reports and statistics to management and recommend enhancements to financial reports as needed.
• Completes daily cash entries and performs weekly cash reconciliations.
• Performs other duties and projects as assigned.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or related discipline.
• 1 years of financial services experience preferred.
• Strong computer/systems skills. Ability to utilize standard software applications to include MS Office suite.
