This position will contribute to our goals by continually looking for ways to improve technician efficiency by assisting technicians with technology-based issues, ensuring they have proper truck stock, accurate materials, and tools on hand for each job, and overseeing our delivery driver dispatching. This role will safeguard our ability to accomplish our growth plans by having new vehicles on site and ready for new staff as they come on board and managing fleet maintenance and repair. This role will also oversee our Logistics Coordinator position and maintain strong relationships with our vendors. Why Us?
Exceptional Work-Life Balance: Enjoy a stable Monday – Friday schedule with NO regular emergency, after-hours, or weekend shifts.Attractive Compensation: Earn between $70,000-80,000/annually.Comprehensive Benefits: We offer a range of benefits, generous paid time off (beginning with 80 hours of frontloaded PTO), paid holidays, and a 401(k)-retirement plan with company matching.Health and Wellness: Access 100% employer-paid PacificSource health insurance with options to extend coverage to your family, including dental, vision, and prescription drug coverage.Extra Protection: Benefit from employer-paid life and AD&D insurance, optional accident insurance, and critical illness coverage.Company Store: Enjoy credit twice a year for our branded company store, stocked with a wide range of workwear and company swag.Responsibilities:Enhance Technician Efficiency: Continuously improve technician efficiency by ensuring proper truck stock, implementing frequent restocking procedures, and optimizing delivery driver dispatching.Fleet Management: Oversee the setup and maintenance of new truck inventory, including tracking, scheduling, and managing internal mechanics and external vendors.Material and Equipment Staging: Manage next day installs and overall installs by coordinating material and equipment staging, as well as materials fulfillment.Vendor Relations: Cultivate strong relationships with vendors to create mutually beneficial partnerships, negotiating pricing, and implementing a buyback program for excess inventory.Team Leadership: Lead and manage warehouse staff to maximize efficiency and streamline operations, creating a safe and accountable workplace.Technology Integration: Utilize Service Titan for inventory management, explore unused modules, and optimize its implementation to enhance overall efficiency.Financial Oversight: Create and manage the annual budget, control expenses, and implement asset tracking tied to a depreciation schedule for tools and vehicles.Parts and Inventory Optimization: Optimize the parts request process, manage truck stocking/bin layout mapping, and maintain up-to-date material pricing in Service Titan.Procurement and Disposal: Manage the vehicle procurement and disposal process, leveraging knowledge of supply house product offerings and locations to maximize efficiency and cost savings.Performance Monitoring: Set individual goals and monitor staff performance to ensure accuracy and safety goals are met.Requirements:Supply Chain Expertise: Proven experience in supply chain functional operations, with a focus on inventory management and logistics.Advanced Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, including Excel skills are essential. Experience with additional inventory management software is a plus.Independent Problem Solver: A self-starter with resourcefulness, able to work independently, learn quickly, and plan effectively with minimal guidance to drive tasks to a successful conclusion.Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with store teams, finance teams, and upper management.Analytical Thinking: Capable of learning on the fly with a focus on problem-solving, utilizing analytical thinking to address challenges and optimize processes.Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, especially when dealing with data, to ensure accuracy in inventory management and reporting.Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in logistics and supply chain management within the residential services sector.Who we are?Reynolds Electric & Plumbing provides both premium residential home services and commercial services.
