The position of Industrial Automation Business Development Specialist will be based out of our Carrollton, TX location!

Summary
The Industrial Automation Business Development Specialist position is responsible for growing sales of specialized products to all customers, with the objective to increase profitable sales through creating, building, and maintaining high quality customer and vendor relationships.

What You'll Do

• Demonstrates commercial and technical acumen related to assigned technology segment(s). Subject Matter Expert of assigned technology segment(s).
• Leads and supports sales efforts with key targets, key customers and key opportunities in area/region
• Identifies customer needs, proposes solutions and closes orders
• Presents proposals to all levels of leadership and technical audiences
• Develops and maintains strong relationships with key suppliers
• Participates in product meetings, seminars and training schools to enhance and maintain personal and product knowledge
• Assist branches and customer with product, technical support and training
• May analyze market potential, develop an annual business plan based on market conditions and lead execution with local technical, sales and management team
• Other duties as assigned

What You'll Need

• High School Diploma/GED required
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• 4 years’ experience
• Product and application knowledge required
• Electrical distribution industry or related experience required
