Summary
Assist with the effectiveness and efficiency of the Human Resources department. Responsible for providing comprehensive support in the day-to-day operations of human resources.
Essential Functions;
Maintain the accuracy, integrity and confidentiality of company and employee records
Administers drug, criminal record checks and other pre-employment screening
Conduct new hire orientations to ensure proper onboarding and initial training of new employees
Keep up to date records of employee and company licenses and certificates
Handle employment related inquiries from applicants and employees
Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs, such as benefits and leave
Provide administrative support to the HR department
Prepares documentation for new hires, or changes in pay, status or benefits
Perform other duties as assigned
Competencies:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to prioritize tasks
Strong problem-solving skills
Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
Proficient with Microsoft Office programs
High integrity and ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality
Working knowledge of UKG Ready preferred
Education and Experience:
1 years of Human Resource experience preferred
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk working on a computer
Must be able to lift 15lbs at times
