ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Avoya Travel is hiring a full-time Digital Media Manager.
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Digital Media Manager to join our team within the travel industry. As the Digital Media Manager, you will play a pivotal role in crafting and executing the digital media strategy to enhance our brand's online presence, drive customer acquisition and lead generation. This role requires a creative thinker with a passion for travel, a strong grasp of digital platforms and a track record of delivering impactful campaigns.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
Develop and execute a comprehensive digital media plan that aligns with the company's overall marketing objectives and brand identity.
Develop and execute supplier marketing plans including tracking and post campaign analysis.
Manage and oversee all digital media channels, including but not limited to paid search, online advertising, affiliate marketing, and more.
Identify the best mix of media channels to deliver results for Avoya Travel and to supplier partners target audience.
Negotiate the best advertising rates, adjust media schedules in response to the latest audience figures, manage budgets and monitor and update clients on the effectiveness of campaigns.
Lead and develop team of performance driven marketers.
Monitor trends in the travel and digital media landscape and adapt strategies accordingly to stay ahead of the competition.
Plan, create, and manage digital advertising campaigns across various platforms, optimizing for reach, engagement, and conversion.
Analyze and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of digital media initiatives, using data-driven insights to continuously improve strategies.
Stay up to date with emerging technologies and tools in digital media, recommending and implementing innovative solutions to enhance our online presence.
Manage relationships with external vendors, agencies, influencers, and partners to ensure the successful execution of collaborative projects.
Stay compliant with industry regulations and best practices for digital media, data privacy, and online advertising.
Stay up to date with emerging digital media technologies and provide recommendations on how to leverage new opportunities.
Manage budgets and ensure campaigns are executed within budget constraints.
Assist with other tasks and/or special projects as required.
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES
Experience with digital media platforms such as Google AdWords, Google Ad Manager, and programmatic advertising tools.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
Knowledge of market research methodologies and experience conducting consumer research.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate media plans and results to stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Passion for the travel industry and a deep understanding of travel consumer behavior.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Experience managing budgets and ensuring campaigns are executed within budget constraints.
EXPERIENCE AND/OR EDUCATION
4 years of experience in paid digital media planning, media buying, and execution, preferably in the travel industry.
Proven experience 4 years in digital media management, preferably within the travel, hospitality, or related industry.
2 years hands on experience working in paid marketing and media buying on agency or client side including management experience.
Experience with SEM (at least 2 years of experience)
PHYISCAL REQUIREMENTS
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift to 15lbs at a time.
Ability to travel to home office or other locations as needed.
