Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Human Resources Specialist to join our team. As a Human Resources Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the HR department and ensuring the smooth operation of various HR functions. This is a vital position that requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information. Duties: - Assist with workforce management activities, including recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes - Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS system (e.g., Workday, PeopleSoft, UltiPro) - Coordinate and administer performance management programs - Support training and development initiatives by assisting with training program development and delivery - Collaborate with managers to address employee relations issues and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures - Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries - Conduct research on HR best practices and assist with implementing new policies or procedures - Assist with payroll processing using Kronos or other timekeeping systems - Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations - Support the HR team in various projects and initiatives as needed Skills: - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred - Proven experience working in a Human Resources role - Strong knowledge of HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, PeopleSoft, UltiPro) - Familiarity with performance management processes and tools - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion We offer competitive compensation packages including benefits such as medical insurance, paid time off, retirement plans, and opportunities for professional development.
