Restore First Health is Hiring a Patient Specialist Near Thornton, CO

Overview:

Our specialty group is seeking a dedicated Patient Specialist to join our support team in the Thorton, Colorado office supporting our referral management system across multiple regions. We provide in-home wound care specialty treatments tackling chronic wounds. Our one-of-a-kind protocol has amazing outcomes for our patients, and we are the partners our patients and other physicians call to finally take care of those meddlesome life altering wounds!

The Patient Specialist’s primary duties include supporting & assisting the Community Liaisons in enhancing the new referral and client relationships in need of chronic wound care. This role will be essential in promoting the services of the company to the client, the client’s family, and/or the client’s caregivers; while maintaining exceptional and open communication between the patient, the team, and the client’s primary care provider.

The ideal candidate will have a strong customer service background and be passionate about providing exceptional communication.

Responsibilities:

  • Identifies new opportunities through inbound lead calls, referral faxes and lead follow-up.
  • Communicate to referral source status of referral throughout the service cycle.
  • Greet and assist patients during the registration process.
  • Verify patient demographic information and insurance details.
  • Enter patient information accurately into electronic health records systems.
  • Schedule patient appointments and manage medical scheduling efficiently.
  • Answer phone calls and inquiries, directing them to the appropriate department.
  • Adhere to HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Collaborate with the medical team to ensure efficient patient flow.
  • Provide administrative support to the regional teams.
  • Call clients for evaluation appointment reminders.
  • Arrange for and assist clients in communicating with the Billing Specialist and/or Clinic Manager

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and relationship building skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Suite

Work Environment:

  • This position will be in a office during our set office hours Monday -Friday.
  • The company is a mobile clinic, and this position requires a valid state driver's license.
  • Must be able to drive distances further than 50 miles.
  • Must be comfortable with accompanying Community Liaison on Home Visits
  • Individuals are frequently required to perform standing. walking, bending, and lifting up to 50lbs.
  • Individuals are required to maintain a professional appearance during business hours.
  • The dress is business casual.

Pay: $20.26 - $23.00 per hour
