Resources For Human Development, Inc. is Hiring an Assistant Program Director (FT) Near Nazareth, PA

Description/Job Summary:
The Assistant Director is responsible for ensuring program operations and services are conducted within compliance with regulatory requirements. Creating an environment that empowers individuals who receive and/or provide support, through the development of skills and coordination of resources, in accordance with Everyday Lives and Person-Centered Practices.
Salary: $62,000-$64,000

Responsibilities/Duties:
  • Oversight, alongside Program Director to maintain regulatory and compliance, program policies and procedures, and assist other team members, as needed to support each in their specific job duties.
  • Facilitate communication between program, Independent Contractors, Supports Coordination Organizations, ancillary services, medical professionals, and county and state regulatory agencies in order to best serve all individuals.
  • Assist and ensure services are attached properly within ISPs, subsequently facilitating and resolving any billing issues with internal Fiscal and Revenue Cycle Departments and externally with SCOs and AEs.
  • Review of PROmise monthly with administrative staff, in order to maintain individual’s waiver and MA eligibility requirements.
  • Conduct internal program quality assurance audits of individual files and sites, as outlined within the 6500 regulations and Chapter 6100.
  • Develop systems and tools, in order to better serve each individual and identify areas of points of correction.
  • Communicate any programmatic and/or operational issues to Program Director.
  • Attend and actively participate in all meetings, as required.
  • Serve as program regulatory trainer, conducting trainings for all staff, as well as independent contractors. Develop and implement annual training curriculum for staff and independent contractors with adherence to applicable regulations. Maintaining 24 hours of training annually.
  • Oversee the maintenance of independent contractor files, including the completion and tracking of physicals, background checks, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
  • EIM Point Person/ODP Certified Investigator (if applicable), prevalent in definitions of reportable and non-reportable incidents in accordance with RHD Incident Management Protocols and ODP Incident Management Policy, as outlined in 6100 regulations
  • Possess knowledge of all individual’s personal financial matters, and works in conjunction with Fiscal Administrator and Program Specialists.
  • Collaborate with other Assistant Directors for sharing of best practices and resources.
  • Serve in conjunction with program management in on-call rotation.
  • Other duties, as assigned.
Required Experience:
  • At least 5 years experience supporting individuals within a community-based residential program
  • At least 3 years experience in supervisory management
Required Education:
  • Master’s Degree from an accredited educational program with experience working directly with persons with an intellectual disability or autism, including supervision of others, or
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited educational program with experience working directly with persons with an intellectual disability or autism, including supervision of others
Required Qualifications:
  • Demonstrate a strong, working knowledge of DPW Chapters 6500 and 6100 Regulations.
  • Demonstrate strong professional, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently with a minimum of supervision.
  • Ability to support and implement RHD’s Values, as well as the philosophy of Lifesharing.
  • Ability to engage individuals, Lifesharing providers, and Direct Support Professionals in effective, therapeutic, and healthy interactions.
  • Ability to utilize Basic Computer Skills and navigate Microsoft Office programs and applications.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
