ReSOURCE is an innovative non-profit organization since 1991, with the mission to empower individuals and strengthen Vermont communities through workforce development, poverty relief, and environmental stewardship.
Our community recognizes the value of donating excess goods, and its positive effects on our environment. ReSOURCE prevents more than 1,000 tons of material from ending up in our landfills each year by finding new homes for major appliances, building materials, computers, electronics, furniture, clothing and other household goods donated to our four stores.
What you’ll do:
As the Store Manager you and your team will work together to create a marketplace for reuse while providing new opportunities to the under skilled and long term unemployed.
This includes leading a small staff and volunteers, customer care, monitoring the donations and pricing process, merchandising, financial oversight and cash handling, attaining sales goals and revenues, supporting the mission while maintaining a fun and engaging community marketplace.
You will work with the General Manager for operational, marketing and organizational support.
You’ll be a part of the bigger ReSOURCE management team supporting innovation and change within the organization.
The hours of operation are Tuesday through Saturday from 10 -5. Closed on major holidays.

Manager will maintain and develop effective and efficient operating procedures and policies that reflect the organization’s commitment to reuse, job skill training and poverty relief.
