Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain guest rooms and common areas of the hotel
- Perform general housekeeping duties such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and changing linens
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms and replenish supplies
- Empty trash and dispose of waste properly
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the housekeeping management
- Assist with laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels
- Follow all hotel policies and procedures to ensure a clean and comfortable environment for guests
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial work is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and products is a plus
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with attention to detail
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests and team members
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if necessary
Note: Carpet cleaning experience or commercial cleaning experience is a plus but not required. Training will be provided for specific tasks related to the job.
Please note that this position may require working weekends, holidays, and varying shifts based on the needs of the hotel.
