Reserve at Red Run is Hiring a Front Desk Attendant Near Madison, MI

Responsibilities/Qualifications

Do you have a positive vibe? We are looking for you at The Reserve at Red Run! You will greet and serve our community members in Madison Heights' newest senior independent living residence. Our building is modern and built for the next generation of seniors. The Front Desk Attendant will provide the first impression of the community. They will ask, ‘What can I do to make your day better?’ This position requires a kind, consummate professional at all times. Our Front Desk Attendant will offer excellent customer service to community members, visitors, vendors, and guests. The Front Desk Attendant is also responsible for tasks which cover the reception desk, as well as other tasks assigned.

We are looking for an afternoon front desk attendant! 

Responsibilities:

  • Greet everyone who enters the community with a warm welcome.
  • Direct visitors where to sign in/out, as appropriate.
  • Walks around the building to ensure the safety of the community members and reports any building issues.

  • Serve as the host/hostess to all visitors looking for information until the sales team can meet with them.
  • Notify community members of package deliveries.
  • Provide information and various resources to the community members as requested. Handeling confidentail matters correctly.
  • Assume responsibility of the appearance and cleanliness of the lobby
  • Answer the community phone and direct calls appropriately with detailed message.
  • Monitor the security cameras and report any concerns to the appropriate person.
  • Monitor the Ensure 360 call system and communicates with third party provider.
  • Serve as the initial point person for “after business hours” emergencies by notifying the appropriate people/agencies per the Disaster Manual policies and procedures.
  • Receive faxes and emails, then forwards to the appropriate recipient.
  • Perform housekeeping tasks in common areas as assigned.
  • Secure front doors at appropriate times.
  • Collect and secure money exchanged for meal tickets or other items.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Able to effectively communicate and document in English.
  • Must be able to verify eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Willing to undergo and must pass a criminal background check.
  • Have TB test and physical (if required by location or position).

Requirements:

  • Every other weekend is required
  • Full and part time is available
  • Must work at a minimum every other weekend.
  • Able to lift 50 pounds and support 100 pounds.
  • Must be able to kneel, crouch and bend frequently.
  • Able to stand for extended periods of time.
