Job Description
Rep Com International (RCI) headquartered in Florida is a professional manufacturer’s representative company supporting the Communications, Contractor, and Utility Markets for over 35 years. Aligned with leading manufacturer’s RCI supports our principals in a 50-state service area to assist our customers meet their technical and network challenges.
RCI is currently seeking a Regional Sales Representative for the states of North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, and Wisconsin._ Experience in working with Tier 1 , 2, and 3 telecom service providers preferred. Also required is prior experience selling to the CATV and Utilities markets. _This position will require a professional salesperson to generate new business and continue relationships with existing accounts within the region.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
· Projecting a positive working relationship and image of RCI to customers, and our principals in the marketplace.
· Focus will be to build relationships with our customers and increase market share.
· Develop and implement sales strategy by Principals and RCI.
· Understanding of assigned accounts.
· Ability to demonstrate and train on products to potential customers.
· Provide reports to Principals as required.
· Prospect new business within assigned region.
· Manage and plan adequate coverage of region.
· Ideal candidates must be successful, highly motivated, and goal oriented.
· Candidates must have strong territory and time management skills, the ability to build good relationships with the customer base and excellent follow up/reporting skills.
· Ability to home office and overnight travel of up to 50% is required.
· Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
