Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our team at the Clarion Inn. As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to drive business growth and increase market share. You will also oversee the marketing efforts to effectively promote our products and services.
Duties:
- Develop and execute Sales & Marketing plan to achieve revenue targets
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand our customer base by outside sales calls, on-site visits, sales tours and networking
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and catering groups in order to keep and expand our market share
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities
- Analyze sales data and metrics to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of sales and marketing efforts
- Lead the development of marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, advertising, and promotions
- Monitor industry trends and adjust strategies accordingly to stay ahead of the competition
-Participate on weekly Revenue Management calls and provide feedback on rate strategies
-Design, develop, and sell creative catered events
Skills:
- Proven experience in managing sales teams and driving revenue growth
- Strong background in outside sales, customer service, business development, and technical sales
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyze market data and make data-driven decisions
- Strong negotiation skills to secure profitable deals with clients and partners
- Proficiency in Delphi or other CRM software for managing customer relationships
- Ability to develop effective marketing strategies to reach target audiences
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively
