Definition

The Manager, Medical Services is responsible for the supervision of all medical staff, oversight of all medical-related operations in Renewal, Inc.’s residential programs and Engagement Center, and will serve as the medical case manager for Renewal’s varying populations. This individual will continually monitor policy and procedure related to agency medical operations, and make recommendations on policy change when necessary. This individual will work collaboratively with Renewal’s contracted medical providers and act as a liaison between providers and Renewal, Inc. staff. The Manager, Medical Services will ensure medication management and administration compliance, including implementing and adhering to medication auditing schedules and acting as the point person for Renewal’s Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. This individual will provide oversight and ensure compliance of the agency Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) procedures. The Manager, Medical Services will ensure medical operations and records are maintained according to standard medical practice, contractual requirements, and Renewal, Inc. policy and procedure.

Eligibility Requirements

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education and/or Experience

Active Pennsylvania Registered Nursing (RN) License and three (3) years of nursing experience in a correctional, behavioral health, or psychiatric environment required. Supervisory experience preferred. Must be proficient in the operation of Electronic Health Record systems. Valid PA Driver’s License and Act 33/34 clearances required. Must be organized and detail oriented.
