Job Title: Litigation Paralegal
Location: Sarasota, FL

Summary:
RemX is assisting our law firm client with a search for a Litigation Paralegal for their Sarasota office. The ideal candidate will assist with various aspects of the litigation process, demonstrating strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Draft and prepare pleadings for filing.
  • Attend telephone conferences and prepare summary memoranda.
  • Maintain pleadings and discovery indexes.
  • Assist in drafting broker transition documents.
  • Organize exhibits, documents, briefs, and appendices.
  • Aid attorneys with interrogatories and other discovery requests.
  • Gather relevant information from diverse sources.
  • Redact sensitive information from documents.
  • Assist in trial preparation by preparing binders, indexing discovery, and organizing trial exhibits.
  • Prepare witness preparation binders.

Skills Required:

  • Proven experience as a litigation paralegal.
  • Knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, and litigation documentation.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong writing and communication skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in computer applications and databases, particularly MS Excel and Word.

Job Requirements:

  • Paralegal Certificate (Required)

Compensation:

65-85K
