This is a newly created role within the high growth ecommerce space! The e-commerce industry has seen tremendous growth in recent years and has become a hotly contested space amongst leading Internet companies, and its future growth cannot be underestimated! In this role, you will own the day-to-day logistics operations management and the performance of a third party facility.

Responsibilities:

• Manage third-party logistics partners
• Monitor metrics for key performance indicators, vendor performance scorecards, and development of business cases to support logistics process changes and improvements
• Work collaboratively across teams to gather and define comprehensive business requirements, ensuring that solutions are tailored to meet the specific needs of the supply chain and logistics operations
• Manage relationships with multiple internal customers within the third party facility and cross-functionally across the organization
• Recognize improvement opportunities specific to the cost and quality of services to be provided
• Create documented business cases, present business cases to peers and leadership for approval, and provide ongoing project management
• This role require frequent travel in the region

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Operations, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 5 years of experience managing third-party logistics providers/vendors
• Strong project management and continuous improvement skills
• Experience managing inbound, outbound, or quality operations with a thorough understanding of key metrics, inputs, and outputs
• Track record of success in operations management, including but not limited to problem solving, capacity planning, cost management, etc.
