Established by visionaries in the cryptocurrency industry, who also played pivotal roles in founding several leading companies that cater to the cryptocurrency ecosystem. They are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to help usher in a new chapter in their history with the building of their next data center in Ohio. If overseeing major construction projects from start to finish is something you thrive on, then this opportunity could be for you!

What you will be doing:
The project manager's responsibilities will encompass supervising and coordinating diverse construction projects, guiding them from inception to completion while meticulously ensuring adherence to predetermined schedules and budgets.
  • Engaging in choosing, contracting, and managing service providers to fulfill specific requirements, including design, drafting, procurement, installation, and other essential aspects throughout the data center construction project.

  • Overseeing the performance of every contractor and subcontractor to guarantee that the work aligns with quality standards and conforms to prescribed specifications.

  • Exercising leadership during in all planning phases by collaborating with clients, engineers, or other relevant stakeholders, culminating in developing comprehensive job descriptions, project scope, and material requirements essential for project completion.

Requirements

What you must have:
We are looking for a seasoned project manager with a construction and project management background and expertise in electrical engineering.
  • A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering is a mandatory prerequisite.

  • A minimum of 8 years in construction and project management is required, with a preference for a background in electrical engineering.

  • Possession of a PMP certification from PMI is not required but preferred.

  • Familiarity with medium and low voltage power supply systems and distribution systems, or relevant experience in the electricity infrastructure construction sector, is advantageous.

  • 50%-100% travel between data centers is to be expected.
