Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to fill the role of Director of Nursing. In this position, you will provide leadership and support to the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) and oversee all nursing and designated patient care functions/services within our hospital organization. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating nursing practice on a multi-unit level, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care. This role assumes 24/7 responsibility for assigned areas and works collaboratively with the CNO to manage clinical staff competency and resource allocation for patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and support to the CNO in assessing, planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating nursing practice.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care across multiple units.
• Assume 24/7 responsibility for assigned areas, overseeing nursing operations and staffing.
• Advocate for the professional discipline of nursing and serve as a role model for nursing staff.
• Maintain effective interpersonal and communication skills to foster collaboration and teamwork.

Position Qualifications:

Education:

• Required: Associate degree from an accredited nursing school with a bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field or a BSN.
• Preferred: MSN or master’s in a healthcare-related field.

Experience:

• Required: 1-2 years as a manager or full-time charge nurse/related position.

Certifications:

• Required: Current licensure, certification, or registration to practice the profession as required by state regulations; CPR certification.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
