About Us:

Relief Mental Health was founded in February of 2020. Within these 3 years we have expanded to 10 new offices across Illinois, Wisconsin, and New Jersey. We aim to create a new standard for mental health care, offering a continuum of innovative therapeutic interventions and responding to evolving patient needs.

Job Responsibilities:

• Answering all incoming calls and assist in directing the caller to the appropriate department or staff member
• Comfort mental health patients by anticipating anxieties, effectively answering questions and escalating any concerns/issues to the appropriate staff when needed 
• Greet and assist visitors and patients when they arrive at the office
• Responsible for upkeep of office, making sure coffee, tea, water, etc. is all stocked
• Coordinating the daily administrative activities, including scheduling, patient check-in and check-out, and patient medical record maintenance.
• Preparing and upkeep of exam and treatment rooms
• Delivering compassionate support, attention, and assistance to patients and families
• Ensuring compliance with all health care regulations, including HIPAA
• Follow office workflow procedures to ensure maximum efficiency
• Maintain files and records with effective filing systems
• Other administrative tasks including distribution of mail, rescheduling of appointments, and other duties as assigned
• Obtaining and recording patient medical histories, test results, and other information for medical records while maintaining strict confidentiality

Qualifications:

• High School diploma
• Great communication and interpersonal skills, plus strong affinity for customer service
• Healthcare reception experience preferred
• Proficient in Google Suite application
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills
• Familiarity with electronic medical health care record system preferred, not required
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Ability to lift a minimum of 20 lbs
