Job Summary:
We are seeking a Payment Posting Specialist to join our growing company. The Payment Posting Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate recording of payments, contributing to the financial health and operational efficiency of the organization.

Essential Duties:

· Works with leadership on work assignments, communicates work status and progress including goals.

· Weekly communication with Manager on issues and solutions to improve.

· Knowledge of and ability to work insurance claims as needed (If posting is complete ability to call on claims for status.)

· Knowledge of Reporting analytics – ability to run reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

· Enhance RejuvenX University with continued SOP’s for the company.

· Growth opportunities for those who excel.

· Sign up carriers for EFT’s.

· Import and balance electronic payments accurately at department standards

· Post payments manually which include patient checks, insurance checks and credit cards

· Responsible for daily lockbox deposits and correspondence

· Record and balance daily batching log

· Consistently meet weekly productivity and quality goals

· Works in collaboration with revenue cycle software vendor to add, update or improve system on an ongoing basis. (Add New CPT codes, Insurances, improvements etc.)

· Provides coverage as needed for billing staff.

· Submit weekly summary to Manager/Director of ways to improve workflow or collections.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years revenue cycle experience.
• Knowledge of EClinicalWorks billing software
• Knowledge of current medical terminology to communicate with physicians, staff, and patients.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions, procedure manuals, and government regulations.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees, clients, customers, and the public.
• Ability to anticipate and react calmly to emergency situations.
• High level of positive communication.
• Ability to make independent decisions and delegate responsibility and duties.
• Proficient computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, e-mail systems, and web-based programs.

Education Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s):

· All KPI’s are recorded on a KPI Report and evaluated monthly, quarterly, and annually.

· KPI’s may change at any time per management’s discretion.

Working Conditions:

This job operates in a professional medical office environment primarily. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, fax machines, scanners, etc.
