This position will require travel between the Port Charlotte, Venice, Fort Myers, and Naples offices.
Job Summary:
To act as an autonomous practitioner working independently and with other health care professionals to assess, diagnose and treat the conditions of patients attending chiropractic/pain management initiating direct referrals as appropriate. Provide expert professional advice to patients, carers and colleagues and ensure the maintenance of clinical excellence. To develop new and improved pain management services, innovative concepts, models, methods, and practices to meet the practice's needs. To provide education and training for other staff.
To be an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, you should be kind and communicative with exceptional active listening skills. You should also be able to analyze symptoms and provide comprehensive treatment or recommend other doctors or specialists if needed.
Essential Duties:
Perform initial physical examinations of patients to evaluate and diagnose conditions and determine appropriate treatment plan; Manage follow up care, address changes in conditions and amend treatment plan as needed
· Perform interventional pain procedures such as trigger point injections and joint injections
· Order, administer and analyze diagnostic tests, administer injections and in-office procedures
· Document and maintain patient charts in EMR system
· Educate, instruct, and counsel patients and families on condition, treatment plan, and home care
· Request consultation or referral with other health care providers as necessary
· Actively maintain knowledge of current pain management research and trends
· Maintain excellent communication with patients and office staff
Job Requirements:
· Masters degree in Nursing or PA-C degree from an accredited institution
· Current license to practice in Florida
· 2-4 years of clinical experience
· Strong academic performance and stable work history
· Sound understanding of pertinent state and federal regulations including HIPPA, OSHA, CDC and HHS guidelines for administration of pain management
· Compassionate and personable demeanor
· Positive team player and leader that can remain calm under pressure
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Strong analytical, critical thinking and decision-making skills
· Energetic with a strong work ethic; Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Education Requirements:
Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s):
· All KPI’s are recorded on a KPI Report and evaluated monthly, quarterly, and annually.
· KPI’s may change at any time per management’s discretion.
Working Conditions:
This job operates in a professional medical office environment primarily. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, fax machines, scanners, etc.

· This is an active role. This position requires the ability to be able to lift patients.
· Vision: Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources, computer screens, and radiology exams.
· Hearing: Adequate to perform job duties in person and over the telephone.
· Speaking: Must be able to communicate clearly in person and over the telephone.
Supervisory Responsibility:
This is not a supervisory role.
