The Tech Desk Analyst is responsible for providing exceptional customer service at the hospital's Tech Desk, focusing on assisting patients with the MyReid mobile application and other related mobile technologies via face to face and electronic/phone interactions. This role involves guiding patients through downloading and setting up the MyReid mobile application, assisting with the setup of remote patient monitoring devices, helping patients navigate the functionalities of the MyReid and MyChart platforms, and conducting community training sessions to educate on the full utilization of the MyReid application. The position requires a commitment to enhancing patient experience through technology and a passion for delivering comprehensive support and education on digital health tools.

Overview of Responsibilities

  • Boost Mobile App Adoption:Drive MyReid app downloads through creative in-house marketing initiatives and patient education.
  • Empower Patients with Technology:Assist patients with MyReid access, login, navigation, and feature usage like appointment scheduling, online bill pay, and proxy access.
  • Troubleshooting Wizard:Resolve MyReid issues efficiently, reset passwords, and configure security settings.
  • Embrace Telehealth:Support telehealth and video visit functionalities, ensuring seamless patient experiences.
  • Stay Ahead of the Curve:Continuously learn and update your knowledge of MyReid, and RPM features.
  • Team Player & Independent Thinker:Collaborate with colleagues while also demonstrating initiative and ownership.

  • Technical Aptitude:Ability to troubleshoot MyChart, MyReid, and RPM issues effectively.

  • Education/Experience

    Education: High School Diploma

    Preferred experience with applications and computer systems

    Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    • Should be fluent in navigating and assisting customers with adoption of MyReid and the entire MyChart platform. .

    Work Environment

    The hours of this position will mainly be Monday-Friday 9am-6pm. Being located at the main welcome desk at the hospital will require standing for long periods of time and assisting customers on personal electronic devices and Reid devices. 

    Physical Demands

    Schedule Details

    Day shift. 40 hours weekly.
