Regional Foundation & Crawlspace Repair is Hiring a Service Technician Near Zebulon, NC

Regional Foundation & Crawl Space Repair, a leader in the waterproofing and foundation repair industry, is growing! Since 1984, Regional has been providing customers with high quality foundation repair and waterproofing solutions. As an industry leader, we are building a strong team that enjoys working hard to deliver effective solutions for our customers across the greater Raleigh area. In this role you will travel to our customers’ homes on pre-set appointments to inspect and maintain existing systems we’ve installed for them and provide additional solutions they need to fix and protect their homes.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Service Technician will meet with customers for pre-scheduled appointments to maintain and/or upgrade systems, follow up on warranty issues, and recommend additional needed solutions to the customer. This position is non-exempt under the FLSA and reports to the Operations Manager.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Service and Sales
  • Examines work done by our company and determines if there is a potential problem to be remedied.
  • Recommends additional products and services to enhance or improve the original installation or remedy a new issue that has arisen in the customer’s home.
  • Follows through with customers until all issues are resolved.
  • Timely completes all paperwork/data entry and follow-up communication required for the appointment.
  • Meets or exceeds the projected service revenue goals.
  • Quality Assurance
  • When installing a product for a customer, follows all job specifications, quality standards, and safety guidelines.
  • Reports any product or installations issues to the Operations Manager.
  • Training & Development
  • Attends the weekly service meeting and other required meetings.
  • o Participates in ride-alongs from the Operations Manager and peers.
  • o Practices the appointment process and follows it every time.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Knowledge of construction or related trades preferred.
  • Knowledge of sales principles and practices preferred.
  • Skill in operating equipment and power tools.
  • Skill in operating a personal computer and programs.
  • Strong listening, closing, and follow-up skills
  • Ability to detect/recognize information in written materials or on a computer/tablet/phone screen up to 75% of the time.
  • Ability to understand, speak, read, and write in English.
  • Ability to lift or move up to 100 lb.
  • Ability to move about and move to/from and work from the floor level or in crawl spaces.
  • 1 years of experience in construction, sales, customer service, or related field OR a combination of education and experience that illustrates a proven track record in the field.
  • A valid driver’s license, a safe driving record, and the ability to drive for the company.
