Position overview:

Currently seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a broad scope of the HR functions within the organization. The candidate must be self-driven, goal-oriented and with great people skills. Successful applicants must demonstrate professionalism and diplomatic problem-solving skills with proven time and priority management. Developing and implementing HR policies and procedures, managing recruitment and selection processes.

Skills & Technical Expertise:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, in addition to excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to organize and manage time effectively.
• Work independently with minimal direction to navigate tight deadlines, juggle a long list of competing priorities, and operate in a dynamic environment without compromising attention to detail.
• Ability to learn new facts and concepts quickly and comprehensively, and to synthesize and communicate effectively.
• Proven project/process and employee management experience.

Education & Previous Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field (master’s degree preferred)
• Knowledge and experience in the tissue banking and/or healthcare industry
• Five (5) years of experience in HR management
• Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven leadership, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement HR policies and procedure
• Manage recruitment and selection processes
• Conduct performance management and employee development initiatives
• Oversee employee relations and conflict resolution
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations
• Lead strategic HR planning initiatives
• Analyze HR metrics and data to inform decision-makers

RBI was founded in 1982 as a direct support organization of the University of Florida Orthopedic Bone Bank. In 2001, after twenty years of advancing transplant science as an agency of UF, the tissue bank became a separate organization.

Pay: $45,063.77 - $63,500.00 per year
