What you'll do
The Maintenance Technician assists with the completion of all commercial and residential maintenance operations. The essential functions are outlined below:
- Complete daily maintenance work orders as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor. This includes but is not limited to troubling shooting extensive electrical and meter issues, and appliance repairs
- Perform routine repairs, cleaning, and preventative maintenance at commercial and residential properties
- Aid with diagnosis and troubleshooting of residential and commercial electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems
- Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are health and safety-compliant
- Assist with the completion of safety and preventative maintenance checks
- Operate, maintain, and clean various power and manual maintenance equipment and tools aiding in the completion of maintenance tasks
- Maintain electronic records by documenting project-related time, labor, and materials
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience
- Valid driver's license
- The ability to work independently, must be customer service-oriented, and comfortable using technology
- Ideal candidates will have an elevated skillset with electrical, HVAC, or plumbing systems
- Requires periodic availability after hours and is required to work during elevated times for the department
Hourly wage will be based on prior experience and will include full benefits:
