Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of our facilities and equipment. This is a critical role that requires strong mechanical knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to work independently as well as with a team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspecting, cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues
- Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities with external contractors
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues or areas for improvement
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff members
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment
- Leadership skills with the ability to supervise maintenance activities
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- Knowledge of electrical systems is preferred but not required
